Our Product Development and Deployment branch at ActewAGL is looking for a motivated, highly organised and energetic individual to join their team as the In-Market Product Manager.

Reporting to the Manager, Product Commercials & Enablement, you will be responsible for energy transitions products once in market and subsequent product optimisation. These products are at the forefront of the energy industry and support our customers with their transition to a low carbon lifestyle – products like carbon off-set gas, electric vehicle financing and charging energy bundling. This role requires active performance monitoring, analysis and reporting of product market-fit and designing and recommending market optimisation initiatives. This will be guided by the principles of product development and deployment strategy.

Your day in the role:

  • Define the product change roadmap for the upcoming months alongside digital and sales.
  • Be responsible for product ownership post launch.
  • Lead a customer centric approach to in-market optimisation. This includes iterating new propositions, design products, incorporate strong customer attributes and validate problem/solution fit and product-market fit.
  • Work with the broader teams across ActewAGL Retail, such as sales, energy solutions, marketing and pricing to gain product feedback and build in market solutions.
  • Develop unique insights on our customers, markets, competitors, and business trends around our key channels and product areas.
  • Monitor product growth, performance and pricing, planning and reporting and market trends.
  • Collaborate across different teams in the business to deliver on the product change roadmap, including managing stakeholder workshops and presenting back to the business.
  • Present to senior management and executive regarding product management and in market initiatives.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor degree in related field
  • Commercial acumen and track record of data lead decision making.
  • Ability to manage a multifaceted role with many different stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in successfully delivering business initiatives within competitive and commercial environments.
  • Extensive years product management experience in relevant organisation and industries.
  • Experience in developing product roadmaps from discovery to launch.
  • Product development qualifications or post graduate qualifications is desirable but not preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
