We are looking for an experienced Test and Release Coordinator to support East Coast Operations based in our Melbourne CBD office. Reporting to the Test and Release Manager, you will plan and execute the Regression and Business Verification Testing as well as co-ordinate the deployment activities of the Alinta system implementations and changes to support Retail Operations.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and manage deployment Runsheet
  • Raise Change Request and provide outage information 
  • Monitor the release deployment plan is followed and that all release deliverables have been completed in line with the release dates and deadlines
  • Work with the delivery team to perform regression testing including identifying and managing defects.
  • Update test results in Jira or equivalent test tools
  • Produce test status, defect status reports
  • Identify Regression impact and update/maintain existing Regression suite

To be successful you will have:

  • Demonstrated testing experience with a Retail Energy business
  • Extensive Testing experience utilising Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum)
  • Demonstrated experience in the coordination of production deployment.
  • Working knowledge of testing tools such as Confluence and Jira
  • Good communication (written and oral as well as presentation abilities) and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment
  • Proactive - ability to identify and discuss improvements to current processes
  • Ability to highlight and drive issues forward from identification through to resolution
  • Ability to develop defect management policies and defect status reporting.
  • Contribution to knowledge management documentation

This is a great opportunity for someone with proven history of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines. Candidates with experience of Orion billing platform will be highly regarded.
