Governance and Risk Specialist
Our Governance and Risk Specialist role is not your usual Governance role. It’s true, you’ll be expertly guiding the business on risk and governance-related matters, but it doesn’t end there. From day one, you will be involved with our annual insurance renewal process and writing reports for management and Board committees. Later, you will be facilitating workshops, providing detailed advice, and supporting management on delivery of our internal audit plan.
There’s a lot to learn and lots of people that you’ll need to know, but you’ll have a supportive manager to guide you as you work your way to independence.
About youThis role will give you the opportunity to expand on your previous success operating as a governance and risk subject matter expert. Ideally, you will have exposure to a wide range of areas such as governance, risk management, assurance, compliance, and privacy. You love to solve problems, applying your well-honed analytical skills, lateral thinking, and your positive attitude.
You’re at home when working independently, and you find great satisfaction in building strong relationships in order to collaboratively achieve a common goal.
A current professional membership and accreditation with a relevant body such as the Risk Management Institute of Australasia or Governance Institution of Australia is highly valued.
What next?We look forward to getting to know you, so please take some time to submit your resume and a cover letter telling us about yourself and how you can add value for our customers.
Applications close on Sunday, 5th July 2020 at 11:59pm.
