The Role

Your research will help grow the climate movement by supporting our busy international desk with the recruitment of a diverse range of climate, sustainability, and environment candidates for international non-profits across Asia Pac and globally. Occasionally you will research other sectors. Your tasks will include:

  • Attending job briefings with Australian and international clients
  • Researching job functions and building research strategies
  • Conducting sector and organisation mappings and searches
  • Identifying suitable candidates to meet client briefs
  • Screening applications, coordinating with applicants
  • Growing talent pools and advertising development

Skills Required

You are a highly organised researcher with an academic background and/or experience in the environment, climate or energy sectors, or closely related fields. You are detail orientated with strong research, resourcing, and administrative skills. You bring a collaborative and values-based approach to supporting a team in a fast-paced service delivery environment. Previous experience and/or understanding of the Asia Pacific region and NFP sector will be highly regarded. Additionally, you demonstrate:

  • Ability to understand technical skill requirements
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines
  • High level of energy, engagement, initiative, and intellectual curiosity
  • Experience with CRM databases, MS Office and social networking including LinkedIn
  • Importantly your values will be aligned to the work of the important organisations we support
