About the Company

Core Talent have partnered with a new up-and-coming renewables developer based in Sydney, NSW. They have recently been bought by a large overseas energy company that have provided the capital and platform for them begin their ambitious growth plans. This company are only in the early stages of their portfolio with all projects current in planning stage. They have solar, battery storage and wind farm projects all kicking off next year

About the role

As the Head of Procurement, you will be working closely with the CEO and other members of the management team to put together the companies procurement strategy and growing this new procurement function in line with the companies ambitious growth plans which will allow them to thrive and succeed in the Australian renewable energy market

Duties

• Produce the company wide procurement strategy
• Manage the engagement of EPC contractors
• Evaluate tenders
• Negotiate contracts
• Grow the company procurement function

Skills and Experience

• 10+ years' experience in procurement
• Ideally 5+ years experience in renewable energy
• Wind Farm procurement experience in essential
• Degree educated in related field
• Good understanding of legal and contractual aspects of utility scale projects
