Infrastructure Solution Architect
We’re seeking a Infrastructure Solution Architect to guide our technology landscape and drive excellence in our solutions. This role is on a permanent full-time basis.
Your Role in Action:
- Lead with Expertise: Develop strong relationships with external service providers and direct them in creating high-level and detailed technical designs, ensuring they align with business needs and ICT standards.
- Ensure Quality: Perform rigorous quality assurance on design outputs to meet our high standards. Guide developers and configuration specialists throughout the delivery process.
- Monitor Progress: Oversee project progress, ensure solutions meet design specifications, and drive corrective actions as needed. Escalate issues to keep projects on track.
- Build Strong Relationships: Forge and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders and service providers, managing complex solutions within budget and skill constraints.
- Collaborate for Success: Work closely with external and internal suppliers to achieve optimal business outcomes and support cyber security and ICT architecture.
- Shape the Future: Contribute to the strategic direction of technology investments, enhancing enterprise architecture and maximizing return on investment.
- Drive Innovation: Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and practices, fostering a culture of development and excellence.
About you
- Skilled in designing ICT infrastructure systems (both data centre back-end and desktop environments, including middleware infrastructure, network infrastructure, storage systems and data centre operations).
- Solution architecture experience developed in complex, multi-application, and varied infrastructure landscapes (including general architectural and design patterns.)
- Proficiency in managing and working with external service providers in the design and delivery of complex solutions.
- Customer focused with commercial awareness and strategic thinking capability.
- Proven ability to translate complex requirements into high-quality technical designs.
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure, cloud technologies, and ICT standards.
- Well-versed in projects, from development to delivery, with accompanying methodologies and tools
- Exceptional communication: influence and negotiate with stakeholders and service providers.
- Passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation in technology solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or Post Graduate qualifications in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or other related study, or equivalent experience.
