Azure Architect
Ongoing, Full-time role (Open to Flexible working Hours)
Remuneration : $169,079 plus 15% superannuation
Business Unit: Business Systems Division
Canberra Location

We are looking for a driven and agile individual who is passionate about technology and has superb communication skills to join our Enterprise Architecture & Digital team as our Azure Architect and work with one of our best Architect and Data Scientist.

The Opportunity
As a member of this highly specialised and agile team, you will be working closely with the business and technical experts to champion our cloud and integration strategy.

Some Key Specifics of the role
Working with the Head of this team, you will

- Be acting as the Principal Cloud Architecture Specialist and contributing to the definition of our Cloud and Integration strategy
- Own our Cloud Architecture and designs (document/establish, maintain, and champion)
- Work with the business to understand requirements and architect cloud-based solutions
- Provide deep analysis and advice relating to changes or exceptions to, or extensions of the architecture.
- Identify the environment, seek business challenges and opportunities for current and future years and develop the organisational strategies to meet and exploit these challenges.
- Drive innovation in domains of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and Analytics
- Analyse and define options to resolve complex problems ensuring integrity, validity and reliability of advice.
- Create and present working prototypes
- Work within agile teams to guide development teams
- Design Application Program Interface (API’s)

To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- A bachelor degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Deep understanding of cloud architectures and standard methodologies
- Proven experience with integration platforms, technologies and specifications e.g. OpenAPI specification (Swagger), Amazon Machine Images (AMI) Managers
- Proven experience with authorisation/authentication protocols, specifically OAuth 2.0
- Proven experience with containers and microservices
- Demonstrated experience of DevOps
- Knowledge and experience with Azure deployment automation
- Knowledge of C# development
- Knowledge and understanding of Digital Divide Data (DDD)
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
- Experience working with NoSQL databases
- Superb communication and presentation skills
