About the roles (two roles available)

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisors support the CleanCo team through the provision of first line HSE support and response to HSE challenges and questions across all CleanCo sites. You partner with key site stakeholders with the implementation, and compliance of CleanCo’s HSE systems, and provide proactive support to assist all sites in embedding an HSE mindset.

The HSE Advisors works in close collaboration with the wider HSE team, consisting of two HSE Advisors, one HS Specialist and one Environmental Specialist, all reporting to the HSE Manager. The HSE Advisors enable the specialists and manager with support and capability to manage and evolve CleanCo’s HSE performance.

About you

You love being in a role where you are the first point of contact in providing HSE generalist advice across a range of high-risk operating locations, climates and habitats, and across a diverse workforce. You love getting out on site and are proactive in your approach to supporting and advising the business as you collaborate to understand their challenges both current and future and take accountability for helping people in understanding and adopting an HSE mindset.

You have gained a solid foundation as an HSE generalist and may have a deep interest or focus in either Health & Safety or the Environment specialisms and welcome the opportunity to gain greater experience in your chosen focus. You are at home in working in a close partnership as one of a team of two HSE Advisors, where you collaborate and understand each other’s role, and are ready to jump in and support each other, and you have the prerequisites to do the job, such as tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
