About the role:

We have a rare opportunity on offer due to an internal promotion, and we are now on the search for an experience Strategic Asset Manager to join our Sustainable Infrastructure Solution Team. 

This role will work between our two main office locations in both Maroochydore and Caboolture. In this role you will be responsible for leading the Strategic Asset Management Section to embed a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on long term sustainability of complex infrastructure.

Reporting to the Manager Asset Knowledge and Performance you will have the opportunity to lead the development, implementation and review of asset management strategies and plans in line with ISO 55000 whilst establishing yourself as a leading Asset Manager within the water sector.

About you:

To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty & Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:

  • Tertiary engineering qualifications or similar, coupled with demonstrated experience in an asset intensive organisation.
  • Knowledge and experience of applying assets management principles and practices into asset rich industries with practical exposure to a relevant asset management standard (PAS55, ISO55000).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build long term relationships with executive, stakeholders, peer
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team of people and proactively shape work culture using work processes, symbols and personal leadership behavior.
  • C Class driver’s license.
