About the opportunity:

We have a 24 month opportunity to join James Cole's section in Secondary Systems as the Principal Quality of Supply and Metering Engineer.

In this role, you will own the compliance, delivery and reporting for the Quality of Supply and metering programs.

You will also work on developing the quality of supply strategy and development of business cases for related augmentation programs.

In Secondary Systems, you'll get exposure and be responsible for the following:

  • Distribution substation monitoring programs
  • Network voltage optimisation
  • Quality of Supply programs and associated regulatory reporting
  • Meter testing program and ensuring regulatory compliance

About you:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; recognised for membership of the Institution of Engineers or similar industry institution
  • You can demonstrate significant knowledge and experience in quality of supply compliance monitoring systems, associated backend systems and analytical tools
  • You have a deep understanding of strategic and business planning processes, including proven ability in relation to project planning and project management
  • You are aware of and show a deep understanding of current challenges to quality of supply from disruptive technologies and responding to issues with demand side management and network solutions
