The Opportunity

Join our Data and Analytics team as the Drawing Control Officer and play a key role in creating, updating and enforcing Evoenergy drawing standards.

The successful candidate in this role will be responsible for management of the Drawing Management System (DMS) including Computer Aided Drafting (AutoCAD & Inventor 3D software) and the Engineering Drawing Management System used to create, edit, approve and view Evoenergy drawings.

We are looking for someone to be the go to subject matter expert on drawing management processes, standards and guidelines whilst educating and supporting our business areas.

• Provide drawing management system control services by carrying out drawing edits, data capture, reporting and analysis to manage the achievement of project milestones and targets
• Identify new opportunities for DMS and implement system enhancements that will effectively improve our operations
• Adhere to drawing management governance including drawing standards, by educating and coaching system users
• Develop, apply and audit the application of drawing management governance procedures
• Coordinate and proactively engage with users of other systems that interface with the DMS
• Building and nurturing strong partnerships internally and externally to inspire correct practices and work methods

Are you equipped with:

• Tertiary qualifications in technical drawing (or drafting) or equivalent work experience with AutoCAD 2D
• Experience with drawing management software is desirable
• Training or experience in Inventor 3D is desirable
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• High level communication skills including the ability to educate and support staff on technical matters
