The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for you to join our Network Assets and Connections Acceptance team in the Asset Strategy branch of Evoenergy as a Junior Commissioning Engineer.

We are looking for our next rising star who is a self-starter, passionate about power and cares about driving positive safety behaviour every single day.

Is this you?

With your technical engineering knowledge you will assist our team in developing and maintaining the contemporary standards and practices.

You will provide engineering support in the context of Asset Acceptance which is inclusive of commissioning and acceptance activities.

You will provide engineering advice on matters relating to:

• The commissioning of new assets on our network
• The energisation of new customer connections to our network

About you

You are a passionate junior engineer, with a qualification in electrical engineering looking to progress your career.

You have had exposure to:

• primary systems
• secondary systems
• protection and SCADA systems

You have deep understanding and care about the trends and changes impacting the utility industry.

You could be a recent graduate with some years work experience or a tradesperson working towards your engineering qualification looking to bridge into a technical role.

We'd love if:

You can tell us about your understanding of operations and maintenance of electricity distribution, transmission and zone substation networks and their associated systems and components.
