Energy Centre Development Manager

Desert Knowledge Australia (DKA) is seeking an experienced energy sector specialist to drive the development of a National Centre of Excellence for Solar /Isolated Power Systems in Alice Springs.  The successful candidate will have project management and high level technical expertise and will provide advice to DKA’s Board and senior management.

Requirements of the role:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Economics, Environmental Science or a related discipline
• Experience with research and working with research teams
• Ability to work closely with government and non-government partners
• Proven project management, planning and organisational skills
• High level capacity to work autonomously.
• Understanding of energy policy and regulatory environments.

Salary commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position based in Alice Springs, ongoing subject to funding
