Regulatory Manager

When we first entered the energy market in 2004 - we wanted to provide something different, to shake things up and we've been doing a good job of it ever since. Based out of our impressive Bryant & May building in East Richmond, we have an opportunity for a Regulatory Manager to join our Regulatory Affairs team.

Reporting to the Manager - Regulatory Affairs, this role is responsible for identifying opportunities to influence energy industry stakeholders in order to achieve the Retail Group’s objectives. Specifically, this job will focus on AEMO procedure changes and where required, the development of rules that interact with those procedures.

To be successful, you will have experience in the retail energy sector, and will be a strong communicator both written and verbally. Your influencing skills will enable you to implement the policies and procedure changes from AEMO and help us align our business in the achievement of a regulatory outcome.

You will also need outstanding problem solving skills in dealing with ever changing regulatory arrangements. You will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including managing network relationships. You will be adaptable in order to respond to a dynamic market place that requires quick response times to maximise opportunities as they arise.
