Based out of our impressive Bryant & May building in East Richmond, we have an opportunity for a Regulatory Manager to join our Regulatory Affairs team. 

This will be a full-time permanent opportunity. This role involves influencing a broad range of energy industry stakeholders to achieve the Retail Group’s objectives. This includes participation in the process to consider rules and procedural changes by agencies such as the Australian Energy Market Commission, Australian Energy Regulator, Australian Energy Market Operator and Essential Services Commission of Victoria. 

To be successful in this position you will have the following,

• Ideally 3 years experience in a Regulatory position or experience in another energy retailer
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• You will need to be able to identify risks and challenges as they emerge and then use your strong influencing skills to help us align regulatory outcomes with our business objectives
• Outstanding problem solving skills to deal  with ever changing regulatory arrangements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and able to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including the management of regulatory, community and network relationships
• You will be adaptable so you can respond to a dynamic regulatory environment, identify emerging risks and maximise opportunities as they arise.
