Professor in Sustainable Energy and Leader: Research Node for Low Carbon Living

  • Total remuneration range: $185K – $197K per annum

The School of Engineering has a strong research and teaching focus in sustainability in all of its disciplines areas.  The School is seeking to appoint an outstanding Professor to grow and lead research and teaching in sustainable systems and technologies. The responsibilities will include teaching, research and academic leadership. You will lead the Research Node for Low Carbon Living, which has been recently established through joint funding from the University of South Australia and the CRC for Low Carbon Living, to provide a shopfront for multidisciplinary industry focused research.

You will have a PhD qualification in mechanical engineering or a relevant engineering discipline, together with distinguished performance and achievement in research in an area relevant to sustainable energy.

This is a full spectrum Professorial position which will provide you with an exciting and challenging opportunity to build on existing high profile research in the areas of sustainable energy and low carbon living within a thriving multidisciplinary research environment.
