The Role

The Systems Information Engineer is primarily responsible for evolving the network asset management IT systems with specific focus around the collection of relevant and actionable asset condition information to be used across downstream processes.  Data integration with CBRM modelling tools is fundamental to the role.  Applying your engineering knowledge and experience will deliver more accurate (effective data collection user interfaces), timely (mobile data collection tools), and specific (fault and cause coding) information used within the asset management system.  This will be achieved through systems level design to ensure an appropriate SAP data architecture is developed and aligned with end-user mobility tools.

Requirements

  • An Engineering Degree with extensive experience in Asset Management / Information Systems
  • Enterprise Resource Planning development experience, preferably SAP
  • may be required to work outside normal working hours on occasions
  • some intrastate travel may be required
  • valid SA driver's licence

Candidates will need to be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical and driving history check.
