We have a full time 12 month contract role in our national legal team for a Senior Legal Manager – Development.  Reporting to the Head of Legal – Merchant Energy, you will partner with the Merchant Energy business to provide advice and guidance on a range of strategic projects.  You will champion legal function governance and systems and processes initiatives.

To be successful in these positions you will have:

• Experience with a major law firm or in-house counsel role
• Experience in the Energy sector (essential)
• Commerciality and a keen awareness of business strategy
• Ability to develop and maintain strong internal working relationships
• Ability to transform legal issues into workable solutions within a business context
