About the role

Alinta’s Retail Energy division is undergoing a modernisation of its systems and practices, which will position us as a low cost, agile organisation that can best meet the needs of today’s customer.

As a Solutions Architect at Alinta Energy you will work with both the delivery teams (including full business participation) and the architecture team, to ensure that the resultant systems are best in class. Using predominantly modern technologies – Java, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular – hosted in AWS, coupled with some exposure to other systems, our objective is to support high degrees of automation, both for business processes and system operation. This foundation enables us to deliver market leading customer self service capabilities, with the specific objectives of having the happiest customers and the cheapest energy.

To be successful you will have:

  • Proven Solution Architecture skills
  • A good understanding of Java, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular technologies
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with both IT and business personnel
  • A proven track record of guiding solutions to a successful conclusion
