The Opportunity

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Manager to lead the successful delivery of TransGrid’s next Draft and Final Revenue Proposals. You will report to the Head of Regulation and work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, delivering strategic advice and recommendations.This will include project management, leading regulatory strategy initiatives, preparing board reports, drafting price review submissions and leading drafting of the Revenue Proposal. You will also be responsible for other regulatory processes, projects and submissions consistent with TransGrid’s regulatory strategy.

Skills & Experience

What we are looking for from you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Law, Finance, Commerce or other relevant field 
  • Experience in an appropriate field such as Legal, Regulatory or Economics.
  • Understanding of the regulatory framework in which the energy industry operates is advantageous
  • Experience managing and delivering regulatory price reviews for regulated infrastructure businesses
  • Experience leading large inter-disciplinary regulatory teams and consultants on complex projects.
  • Experience applying, adapting, developing and reviewing regulatory frameworks.
  • Engaging and influencing regulators, Governments, customers and other stakeholders to achieve commercial and regulatory objectives.
  • Executive advice and recommendations.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical, legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven track record of leadership in a complex legal, technical and operation environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating and influencing outcomes whilst maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
