Controls engineer

My client, a leading specialist of automation solutions requires a Controls Engineer to join the business to help with the programming of industrial warehouse systems.

Working across multiple locations working as a Control Engineer you will be programming various systems and have experience in either Beckhoff TwinCAT or Siemens S7, any other controls platforms experience would also be of benefit (Rockwell, Allen Bradley etc)

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for

• HMI/ PLC design, coding, testing
• System definition
• On site testing and commissioning
• Providing technical support to the sales department
• Leasing with both internal stakeholders and external customers on site

Operating across several sites in Sydney you will be responsible for all the above activity across both multiple sites and customers. This is a very autonomous job that requires someone who can travel from site to site, has great time management skills and can adapt to different customers/ environments.
