We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Manager to lead our People & Performance Area on a permanent fulltime basis. This is a critical leadership role and is responsible for a high performing team who provide strategic and operational HR advice, guidance and support to the business.

The People & Performance Area ensures that the "voice of the customer" is factored into the design and delivery of HR solutions and actively works to implement the HR Operating Model.

Our ideal candidate will have a people centric approach to delivering a consistent and customer focused service to the business and demonstrate experience building and leading high performing teams. As a Values Led leader you will have extensive experience delivering a broad generalist HR portfolio, strong stakeholder management and the ability to connect HR solutions to organisational priorities.

About you

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in coaching and developing HR practitioners at all levels,across multiple disciplines.
  • Change Management experience focusing on employee experience and service delivery outcomes
  • Previous demonstrated experience with managing Enterprise Agreement negotiations
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Commerce, or behavioural sciences
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to foster and maintain relationships at all levels across the business and with external stakeholders
  • Evidence of proactively designing and delivering effective, pragmatic HR solutions for different business requirements
  • Evidence of data-based decision making, including commercial data, to ensure the right decisions are made
  • Budgeting and planning experience
  • Exceptional organisation and project management skills, to be able to forecast and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong negotiation & stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated and broad experience with a commercial approach to deliver ER solutions and tactical activities that support business outcomes
  • A continuous improvement focus, to build on the status quo actively, to best position the function for future challenges
