This is a full-time maximum term position for 9 months located at Perth, Head Office.

About the Role:

We have an exciting new role for an experienced, proactive, innovation professional to lead a new Innovation Delivery team. As leader of the new team your role is to create a culture of innovation to allow agile sprint teams to take disruptive ideas to meaningful ‘value drops’ for the business.

Stepping into the Innovation Delivery Manager role we are looking for someone who can champion our Be Bold value, and who is passionate about balancing value for our community and value for the business.

This role will accelerate the function’s service delivery to the business, support and guide the business in removing roadblocks to service delivery, align projects to customer outcomes and facilitate how best to embed significant change to maximise benefits.

It’s a new team so you have an opportunity to build, test iterate on a framework that supports accelerated innovation, drives capability, removes roadblocks and reinforces customer-focussed design in diverse teams. This will be achieved by intervening and challenging how implementation activities are being performed, influencing key stakeholders in delivery approaches and developing new ways of working where required.

About you:

The successful applicant will be experienced and competent in the following:

  • Significant previous experience in leading innovation activities at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong leadership, exceptional influencing, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to turn “strategy into action”
  • Experience managing team dynamics and creating a culture of innovation while working across departmental and other boundaries
  • Strong business acumen, comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated people management skills and ability to engage and drive teams to produce effective outcomes which meet desired timeframes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills including demonstrated ability to influence and guide decision makers
  • Previous experience in Business Change, Agile methodology and Project Leadership is essential.
  • Experience in running the SCRUM methodology
  • Strong Excel modelling and PowerPoint skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in appropriate commercial / finance or business-related disciplines
