About your Role:

The primary focus of the role is in the area of Virtualization and is a critical role to the technical delivery of services in Powerlink’s Corporate Business IT team and reports to the Team Leader, Infrastructure in the Business IT Group.  

Your Skills and Experience

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Business IT, Commerce/Business, Computer or Information Science, Mathematical Sciences, Systems Analysis or a related discipline, supported by:

• Significant experience managing a complex technology back-end topology including virtualization platform, SRM (Site Recovery Manager), SAN integration, network integration
• High level design capability (including diagram development) - conceptual-to-detail design is essential
• VCP or higher certification (active) highly desirable
• Supporting certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco) highly regarded
• Experience with automation (scripting, orchestration) and application service level monitoring
• Experience building charge-back/cost-back technology infrastructure highly regarded
• Exposure to vSAN technologies a distinct advantage
